Janette Sadik-Khan has been very aggressive in taming NYC&#8217;s streets to the benefit of people (as opposed to cars). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/05\/26\/arts\/design\/26clos.html?hp\">Her latest project<\/a> hints at a Copenhagen-style renaissance for the Big Apple.
